Airtel Mobile Karnataka - Wrong commitment and over billing with airtel connection.

Hello,

I have this Airtel number: ********77 on "May 2012" from Airtel team based out of our office cafeteria. I had also paid a sum of Rs. 250/- for SIM on the spot and no receipt.

Connection detail: Corporate plan of 249 and 3G pack of 400 MB usage plan offer with rental of 100.

I was sent across a bill of Rs.6570.68 on the month of July which I was shocked. I was quite busy with my schedule and travel activity. I have made few payments before generating these bills as well since I used to get over credit limit notification.

I had called up customer care several times which I have to wait of almost 10 – 15 min to get through and then to get disconcerted or on hold again. After multiple attempts I get through and spoke with an executive. From the call I came to know there was never a 3G plan activated which should not be the case. Even though my data uses should not generate Rs.6000/- bill for 300 MB uses. However the data uses in the bill was for 46MB which is strange.

I have spoken with multiple Customer care and the concern redirected heads and write number of official mail from my official mail ID to all required audience from AIRTEL as requested.

However it all went to nowhere even if they have received and read my mail , as I have notification for mail and delivery and read message.

I have open a case with Airtel with this regards but was closed without any comment or action.
I have clearly mentioned I need a clarification and corrected bills to settle the disputes. It was really impacting my personal and professional life since they keep disconnecting/barring quite often during this tenure of 2 month since connection. I had missed most of the important calls, could not access my mail and so forth which force me to use PCO and other phone etc while on move and at airport..

After two days of followed up since I have the bill, they prompt I will be getting a new amended bills which never show up and since then absconded completely.

I was out of station for few days post my last email communication and couldn’t use my connection while travelling again and I have to rely on my friend’s phone/connection. I haven’t use that number again from that trip neither there wasn’t any response neither from them.

Now they are again following me up freshly ignoring all of previous communications and with new figures.

I need help with any legal action against AIRTEL for mental harassment, wasting my time, compromising official challenges and business activities and disturbing my friends and other headache and issues I had to face with my bank, insurance, domestic and international personal and office contact gaps causing lots of trouble….. etc and to get relieve from this mess and to apologize for what they did during this two month and post.

- On 24/07/2012 spoken with another customer care person (reference number:- 44903794). She said it will be corrected accordingly and will revert back with actual bill.
- Service Request number 44903794 (Tuesday, July 24, 2012 5:53 PM) this was updated as closed on the same day (July 24, 2012) without any action.
- Last followed up mail on Tue 7/24/2012 4:02 PM post I was out of station
- I have clearly mention those communication to be consider as official and applicable for any legal purposes and I am not responsible for dispute payment later, If I don’t get any proper response accordingly.

Dear legal team kindly help in getting relieved from this messed and miserable mental torture.
