I converted my mobile number from idea into vodafone using mobile number portability around 3 weeks ago. I went to the Rajiv chawk vodafone store and they told me that you need to recharge a 95Rs coupon to get internet services activated on my IPHONE.As soon as my connection got converted into vodafone , i recharged my phone by 95Rs coupon, But i was not able to access internet on my phone. Then I called the Vodafone customer care on 111, they told that i need to recharge my phone for 100rs NOT with 95 rs to activate internet on iphone and when i asked then what about my 95Rs coupon, they told me that 95Rs can be reimbursed into your balance, for that you need to visit our vodafone store. When i went there i was told that 95Rs CANNOT be reimbursed in any kind to you and your 95Rs have gone wasted, somehow i digested that. Then they told me to recharge my mobile with 100Rs to get services activated on your handset. I Did that and also sent the desired message. But i din't received any kind of reply from the other side. So I went to rajiv Chawk Vodafone store to get assistance. I was told that we cannot help you in your IPHONE related problem, you need to visit the Cannaught place vodafone store. There they sent a message from my phone and 100rs were deducted from my phone. I was assured that the services will get activated within 4 hours and you will get 500MB free for a week and 2GB free for a month. I came back home. But no service got activated on my cell. After 5 days the service got activated and i was able to use internet. But to my surprise the next morning I found my balance -75Rs. The customer care told me that you need to wait for 4 hours to get services activated on your phone, which I was not told earlier. On visiting the vodafone store now, I m being told that You wont be getting any extra 500mb or 2GB free on you phone !!
That means I wasted my 300Rs on vodafone for nothing. Being a middleclass student. I cannot afford that amount. If anyone reads this please help me out.
