I was in Indonesia a few days back using a local sim card that I bought from Uniconnect sims for some 1300 bucks. While the network was anyways terrible, but on some lucky days I could also make calls and use my data. But the most pissing off thing was their recharge process. I recharged my phone with some 500 rs and after completing the entire 100 question form for recharge their payment system hung. Not only was the money debited from my account but not credited whoich was but expected. When I called their customer service asking them to either recharge or refund they said no such transaction was made since they don’t have this record. And to make their case stronger they don’t even send you a recharge failure email or a text. As for me, I lost some 2000 rs but atleast I now know what services NOT TO USE while traveling
