Hi, I have been getting unsolicited calls from 044-4229 2700 and have spoken with Ms. Shanthi and Ms. Anitha, who claim that they work with CitiBank but when I tried calling the same number I get a message stating that this number doesn't. They have infact taken all my credit card details including the number plus my DOB etc. and even Ms. Shanthi has sent an email stating that I have put in a request to cancel my card account. All these calls have been happening mostly on Sundays even though I have mentioned that I shouldn't be disturbed on a Sunday and also not to sell any product from CitiBank. I feel all my information by both these people is being misused. When I called and wanted to confirm the above mentioned number with the customer care 040-6666 2484, they were also not able to confirm if it was in fact CitiBank's number. Also, I have sent multiple emails to the grievance department and to Mr. Pragnesh Sha (one of the senior most manager with CitiBank) multiple times in this regard and am yet to hear back from them. I have also taken this and lodged an "UNSOLICITED" call with the Begumpet Police Station, Hyderabad on March 11, 2012. I was asked to take the same letter to the CyberCrime branch located in Hyderabad so that I was told that they could track and find out as to how these people are getting into this kind of fraud or calling from fake numbers to harass and misuse my credit card details, as CITIBANK is unable to help me in this regard thus far.
Same scam is occurring from an alleged Kentucky, USA number. 859-283-8071. These guys will call over and over again hoping you call them back then they LURE you into giving your password for citibank by telling you personal information about you that they already have gathered. US government needs to LOCATE these scums and send them to prison. They are probably from India, just another bunch of losers and frauds that can't hold a real job like real men, so they spend their days and nights getting people's credit cards so they can go on shopping sprees, etc.... May curses follow these frauds forever and may they bleed in the streets. Nothing is more disgusting than people who steal other people's identity. They are the WEAKEST among us. They most repulsive wastes of life.

I got a call form this number today and they said there is a change in ref number for a request i placed with citibank and asked for my DOB.
When i checked with citibank thru their official number going thru the IVR they have the new ref number and they confirmed its indeed a call from citi.
