When I joined Hewlett Packard (in November 2005), I had opened a Salary A/C with Citi Bank through Hewlett Packard (HP), since HP has a tie-up with Citi Bank for salary processing of employees.
I quit HP after 1.5 years.
I realized a month ago that Citi Bank has been deducting money from my account.
I called up Citi Support and they told me that my Salary account has been converted into a regular savings account and the money is being deducted from my account as fee for not maintaining a minimum balance.
My concern is that this change of salary account to regular savings account and then deduction of money from my account has been done without any notice or calls to me.
Without notice how would I know the changes made? Moreover why are any changes made without informing me.
I had requested the Citi Support to escalate the matter and have a senior person looking into the issue but in vain.
I request the bank to credit the money deducted back to my account and send me the rules and regulations for the regular savings account.
I support this complaint.

Same thing has happened to me, a total of 4000 odd amount has been deducted from my account and I received no intimation whatever. No mail has been received by me in person but they have been coming up with terrible excuses for the same.
This is preposterous.
