I would have rather gone without a cell phone than with the one I went. My father coaxed me to use his already bought Dubai sim card from Uniconnect. Even after checking with their customer services if the sim was functional and all, which they told us was, he got me a recharge for close to 3000 bucks and in a way I was glad that I had a sim so calling my cousins once I land would be easier. Well turned out for all my stay there I was using their sim card because this sim card from Uniconnect just didn’t work at all. No signals, not even registering on wifi, nothing. All monies lost and later we were told that the sim was declared dead but the staff didn’t feel the need to inform us about this. Absolutely disappointing
