Hi,

After spending almost double amount on a tatkal ticket , we could not occupy our seats as the TTT of the coach had sold the berth for a few hundred rupees

We had booked a tatkal ticket vide Transaction ID 155263167 through our corporate travel agent Harnim Travels

The ticket details are as follows:

PNR No. 22********

Date of journey 30th Oct 2009

Date of Booking 30th Oct 2009

Train No. & Name 2965 / GWL UDZ

Class 2A



Passenger Names Sanjeev Manoharan

Ashok Gulati

Seats allocated CONFIRM / A1 / 1 / Lower

CONFIRM / A1 / 3 / Lower



The TTT of the said A1 coach Mr. R. C. Pathak wanted to accommodate another passenger.

So he categorically said that we did not have any bonafide rights on the above seats.



And he allocated the seat No. 3(lower berth) to this other passenger who also boarded from Jaipur.

The best part he did this adjustment so that this passenger could get a LOWER BERTH.

As the other passenger already had a reservation in the same coach A1 with seat No. 20.

He might taken a good amount of bribe from this passenger to vacant a CONFIRM seat and adjust some one else.



This kind of corruption in the Indian Railways is unwarranted.

Would like some action being taken on the said employee so that in future other passengers do not have to go through the same experience.
