Dear Concerned,
I have booked e-ticket, to and fro tickets for my parents through IRCTC on “Dehradoon Shatabdi” for 25th august and return on 27th august.
The respective PNR nos are : Delhi to Haridwar: 25******** & Haridwar to Delhi: 2********3.
My concern is the price of the tickets from Delhi to Haridwar is Rs 685/- where as the price of the tickets from Haridwar to Delhi is Rs 770/-.
Raised a complaint with IRCTC.But no fruitful answer.
They say that Indian Railway decides the fare.I have checked the fares from site http://www.indianrail.gov.in/ .To and fro fares are same for “DehraDoon Shatabdi”.
Kindly explain about the discrepancy of the same, for the tickets I have booked through IRCTC , as the reply given by IRCTC is not satisfactory.
