I am an advocate residing at 1043 Urmila Housing Society, Dhankwadi, Pune 411043. I am practicing as an advocate since last 35 years. My Mobile sim card No is ********29 of Idea company. I have purchased the said cell phone on 5th October 2015 for Rs 41900/-.The IEMI No of the said Phone *357215/06/102310/0* vide Invoice No :M-16714 from KRIPA ANAND RISHI CELLULAR Pvt. Ltd.Pune. I am using the same cell phone since the purchase of the same and the same contains valuable documents and information.
That on 10-11-2015 I had been to purchase the puja material from Balajinagar, near Pune Satara road, in between Mamta sweet mart and Pune- Satara road. I had put my mobile in my shirt pocket. While I was proceeding towards western side, as there was rush on the road some unknown person committed theft of my phone at about 6:06 PM to 6: 12 PM on the road. The same road is covered by CCTV cameras. My son tired to ring the same phone from his mobile No, ********42 immediately. For the first time it did not responded but on second occasion it rang with the thief but did not responded. Hence I approached the police help centro in Balajinagar and met with police shinde and sanas.They did not recorded my complaint and called officer at Sahkarnagar Police station for CCTV coverage and as the concerned person was not available there, asked me to come tomorrow in the morning at Sahakrnagar police station. They accompanied with me to adjacent shopkeepers but they also refused to display their CCTV coverage at the time.
According to me if the complaint was registered immediately and location of the cell-phone was obtained it was possible for police to trace out the thief or the gang behind him. By giving access to the thief of time the opportunity to trace out the offence as such theft is being protected by the police personals. I have learnt that many of the phones from the city as well as the Sahkarnagar and Bharti vidyapith police station area has gone under theft but the police has recorded complaint of missing the cell phones and not of theft. I am searching the same on line. The same smells that the mobile thieves are being protected thereby with consent of the police. By such act of police the security of person and property of the citizens is at stake and it is necessary to prevent the same by taking necessary actions against the police machinery which are not vigilant in their official duties. One of the Police officer ad vised me that as you cannot maintain your thing what police can do for the same . true it is a fact then what is necessary to make expenditure on police department and to pay for their in-activeness. So it is my humble request that the offence in matter be registered and investigation of the same be made by independence investigation agency.
It is pertinent to know that at the same time in the same vicinity in respect one mobile cell phone No ********07 has been taken away by the thieves and as such it is possible that the all theft might have been recorded in concerned CCTV cameras.It is necessary to prevent such thefts and public be sure of their person and property. I think necessary quick action be taken in the matter or my self will have to take necessary legal steps in the matter. Thanking you in anticipation. Complainant Advocate Y.
