Dear Sir,
Re : Complaint against Bharat Gas Distributor M/s. Bengal Flame, Amar Apartment, 122/1, B. T. Road, Kolkata – 700 035
(SAPCode:112344) for non-supply of refill LPG cylinder before 31.3.13. My on-line booking No.33839370 dt.18.3.13
I am sorry to inform you that despite my four letters/complaints dated 21.3.13, 1.4.13, 4.4.13 & 8.4.13 (received Complaint Nos.40135657, 40139770, 40141079 & 40142392) sent to Bharat Gas website under “Talk to Us†against my on-line booking vide Sl. No.33839370 dt. 18.3.13), I have not received refill LPG cylinder on or before 31.3.13 i.e. FY 2012-13. I am surprised to note that on 25.3.13 when I checked “View Complaint Status†in their Customer Console, I noticed in the Action Column “ACTION TAKEN†against my first two complaints and “PENDING†against rest of my complaints. I do not know what action they have taken. Also I noticed that date of delivery has been showing “26th March 2013†in “View Previous Order†under Customer Console of their website. On seeing the status in their website, I thought that Distributor would deliver me the same immediately according to my complaints. In the past, for negligence and late delivery made by the said distributor, Territory Manager of Kolkata LPG Territory of Bharat Gas issued a warning letter vide No.KT/Bengal Flame dated 1.08.11 to their Distributor M/s Bengal Flame, Kolkata – 700 108 which please note. All other Oil Companies are being delivered the refill LPG cylinder to their consumers within 8/10 days from the date of booking.
You are requested to please look into this matter seriously and do the needful immediately so that I can get the same immediately and treat the said delivery as “26th March, 2013†as shown in “View Previous Order†under Customer Console of their website because I shall get only nine cylinders within this FY 2013-14.
Kindly note that I sent the copies of email dated 5.4.13 to Executive Director (LPG), BPCL, HO, Mumbai (email: ssc@bharatpetroleum.in) and their Regional Office (email: info@bharatpetroleum.in) addressed to Mr. Saibal Sarkar, Dy. Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (Email: saibal.sarkar@nic.in) with a request to deliver me the refill LPG cylinder before ending FY 2012-13 but neither I have received a single response nor have got the cylinder even now. I sent another email dated 20.3.13 to HO & RO of BPCL also. Yesterday, I transmitted a fax to the Executive Director (LPG), BPCL, HO, Mumbai regarding the above-mentioned subject. Also, I regret to state that when I tried to contact the officer of Bharat Gas, RO-East, Kolkata (Ph:033-24293050) over phone on 5.4.13, without hearing my complaint, he advised me to contact Customer Care (Ph:033-24293188) who has not been receiving the phones. Again, I tried to contact the officer of BPCL, RO-East (Ph:0333-24293190) over phone on 5.4.13 and their receptionist received the phone and transferred the same to the said officer but nobody was there to attend the said phone.
I shall be highly obliged if you kindly go through the above fact minutely and take necessary action immediately so that I can get the same without any further delay.
An early action in this regard will be solicited.
Thanking you,
Dilip Kumar Deb
