Dear Sir,
My father having pension Account with Vazira, Borivali (w) branch of State Bank of India, wants to transfer money from pension to Saving. But he cannot do the same now due to the branch manager's approach. Since last six years he is not able to walk to bank and sign . Till last transaction one staff was used to come with me at my home which is very nearer to the bank for verification and making thumb impression in presence of him / her & then money were transferred from pension A/c to Saving A/c.
Account holder's name : Gulabbhai Khandubhai Desai
Age : 83 years
Pension A/C No : 10217638422
Saving A/C No : 10217533756
Contact No : 9323 461 378
Earlier PRO Mr. Bonde has been transfered now & new comer PRO is now taking objection that such provision will be given only on submission of certificate of a doctor stating that the account holder is not able to walk & sign for each & every transaction. How it is possible ? Why should we have to pay doctor's visiting fees unnecessary everytime ? At the age of 83, a very old age, 99% old men are not able to walk or to sign, then why such harrasement ?
This problem arises each & everytime when new PRO is replaced. Since last six years one staff person was being sent alongwith me at my residence for signature verification & it is not taking more than 5 minutes as our home is very near to the branch.
Hence, you are requested to look into the matter & do the favorable needful which will be heartly appreciated. Or please guide me what to do ?
Thanking you.
