Kent RO Systems - Pathetic Service from Kent Water Purifier

I am Chandan Kumar Rath from Baripada, Odisha. I have purchased a Kent Perl RO Water Purifier from a retailer named Astik Electronics on 15-Jan-2013.
It stopped working from mid of October 2013. I have booked a complaint on 20th October 2013. No body attended the complaint for 7 days. I have also mailed raising the same issue to service@kent.co.in. Till date no body responded to that mail. After 7 days some body from the service center had attended the complaint.

The service center raised a new issue regarding the warranty claim. I have lost the warranty card of the product but have the bill on which the purchase date is mentioned. The service center denied to provide warranty without a warranty card. I have talked to the toll free kent service 1********00. As per the customer care executive, it is not necessary to produce the warranty card to claim warranty. But service center here says warranty card is mandatory to claim warranty. I have also recorded the conversation with 1********00.

I have also owned an AquaGuard at a different place. Within its warranty period, it stopped working once. The service personnel came on the second day of booking complaint and serviced the product. I didn't have to show any document at all.

There is a serious problem with Kent while claiming warranty. The service head of Odisha has also denied to provide warranty. Now I have no other option to file a consumer case against Kent. Why company needs a warranty card. What is extra written on the card. I am producing the bill where the purchase date is there.


Finally WORST SERVICE FROM KENT WATER PURIFIER. DO NOT BUY IT.

After issued a consumer case notice, the service center has taken the machine and also agreed to provide warranty. Worst service from kent. I am waiting from one month to get the product serviced. I have sent several emails on service@kent.co.in. Till date I have not got any response. It seems the company has shutdown its service division and nobody is there to attend email complaints on service@kent.co.in
