We travelled by Nellai Express # 12632, on 07-02-2011 – in II Tier AC – with a ticket holding PNR 432-3720176. We are a family of three and were allotted berths 38, 40 and 41 in coach A1. At Madurai, around 22:00 hrs, a family of 4 people got into the train – three women and one man and occupied one lower berth – 37, which they exchanged later with the passenger of seat 39. They were loudly talking oblivious to the fact that passengers were sleeping and were disturbing others who were in deep slumber. We got down at Tambaram at 05:50 hrs on 08-02-2011 and found them traveling further. It is quite surprising to note how such “sitting†allotments could be made in sleeper class and how 4 people were allowed to travel in one berth in the upper most class of this train! This needs deeper investigation and action be taken on wrong-doers as well as to make journeys safer and happier.
Also a simple suggestion - While we travelled by Nellai Express #12631 on 04-02-2011, in II Tier AC – with a ticket PNR 422-3720263, our coach was the last but one from the engine and the subsequent one was the unreserved one. Since the crowd was so high, people just barged into the II AC compartment and occupied the cabin entrance. Due to reasons of humanity, we felt highly sad to see people travelling like that. But anyhow we could not travel safe, due to fear of pilferage.
