SUB: Theft
My purse was stolen while travelling in BMTC bus to office from Bellandur Petrol Pump to Water Tank signal in between 9:15 & 9:55 am on 08.02.2011. I had lost my valuables including my office ID card , PAN card and Nokia E63 mobile. When contacted the customer care for Nokia, a computerized message said that Nokia doesn't block or trace lost mobiles. We registered a complaint in nearest Police station (HSR Layout PS) enclosing copy of mobile bill with IMEI number, they said they will give only an acknowledgement.
I realize there is no proper security system in Bangalore to locate or block the mobile. It has become a regular practice of stealing in the BMTC buses as there have been recent instances of similar incidents with my colleagues also. Even after the complaints being made, no body is doing anything. Our system is made for helping out thieves.
Please help if you can.
