Dear Rail Authorities,
we had booked I- AC on Konkan Kanya Exp (Train No: 10112) from Madgaon to Mumbai CST. Ideally, 3 A means 3 tier AC, 2 A means 2 Tier AC, but when we got into our 1 AC, it wasn't a coupe/ 1 Tier but a 2 Tier just that it was in a cabin. How will a customer know this when they are booking the tickets. there is no information as in that the 1 A is not 1 tier. we felt cheated. As a 2 A ticket costed Rs.1073/- and a 1A costed Rs.1799/- we felt it was a complete waste of money. There were 3 Cabins, and total of 10 seats. 2 cabins as 4 seats each and one had 2 seats. this is not a fair treatment and just another money making system.
we are completely unhappy with what we got and felt there that Indian railways have not been clear in their communication.
will surely dissuade people from travelling in 1 AC as it has no value for money neither the luxury that you expect from a 1 AC.
