I own a Nokia C5-03 mobile which is under an extended warranty period. This devise use to behave very weird since day of its purchase and been already repaired for around 3-4 times by Nokia Care Center (Devatha Communications, Hyderabad) and twice by another Nokia Care Center in Madhapur and once it was sent to the Nokia Company service Center (TVS) for further repairing.
Even after multiple attempts of repairs, the issues are still not resolved and use to behave weird intermittently. When I approached the Nokia Care Center (Devatha Communications) during some time last week they have behaved very awkward with me and claims that the mother board is slightly bent and the warranty is henceforth lapsed and as the device is tampered because it is repaired by a third party service center other than Nokia Care Center.
I was surprised after listening to their words because my device is under an extended warranty period and I have never made it repaired/serviced by any third party vendor. When I demanded for a CC TV footages of all the instances where my device is repaired in all the multiple locations they refused to provide me the details and are arguing with me. I have raised a complaint with the Nokia Call Center and they have opened a Service Request # 1-142********. After 7-8 days of the SR creation, when I called the Nokia call center to enquire about the status, they simply denied my request to probe in detail about the issue and supporting the words of Nokia Service Center ( Devatha Communications) and denied to provide the CC TV footages. They are not even not bothering of providing an evidence that my device is tampered and despite of it they are saying that I have agreed on November 22nd 2012 that my hand set is tampered.
My device is repaired by the Nokia Care Center (Devatha Communications) on 22nd November, 2012 for free of cost and changed the touch panel which is malfunctioning at that time and their records will indicate the same if probed in detail and how do they do if the warranty is lapsed during that time? Though Nokia Care center is liable to provide the details to the customer according to Right to Information Act, they are not in a position to listen to my words and the Call Center people are behaving very un-professional which made my BP levels gone up and use some un-parliamentary language.
I request you to kindly do a fair justice in order to prove that my device is not repaired by any third party vendor and to prove that I am speaking the real picture. This looks like Nokia is using some techniques to lapse the warranty period of a weird device that was manufactured by them.
