Airtel has been providing the worst service now...Please read the below and advise how this cane be dealt:
I was a resident of South x, and was using Internet there since 5 yrs..In Dec 1st week 2010 i made a call to customer care and requested for the internet service to be deactivated as i was getting married in Feb and was leaving the plc of South Ex.. I was first assured that the no. will be disabled and i will get a confirmation within 35 days..but since 15th Jan when i got no response i again made a call to Customer Service and i was been advised to make the full payment so that they can start the processing..so i made the payment in full and went for my Wedding..After that i got no calls from these Airtel guys.. and today out of a blue on 6th june 2011 i get a call..where these Airtel Guys are saying that since Feb i have not made any payments and i will have to pay them..Now this does not make any sense to me...
I have already taken another Airtel connection in gurgaon.
Please do advise, i look forward for your replies!!!
