My complain is against Indian Railways for not refunding the money despite filing the TDR.
I have booked a ticket whose PNR number is ********89 and reference number of TDR is ekt20110********439. This ticket was booked using IRCTC.
The ticket in conversation was booked for 2 persons(myself and wife) and the train was Ahmedabad Express. Initialy I tried cancelling the ticket but as the chart was prepared I couldn't do it.
I tried cancelling the booking for one of the person(i.e. wife) from this ticket on 13th August, 2011 at 10.50 AM. However as the chart was prepared I could't cancel. By 10.54 AM on the same day, I filed TDR.
When I boarded the train, I ensure to inform TTE about it. The TTE name was Mr. G. Divekar (Badge no. - 4055).
Despite of following so many process, no money was refunded. I have followed-up with "tdrprocess@irctc.co.in" about this issue and asked for some grievance redressal mechanism.
But haven't been able to get any kind of response.
I suspect that as the chart was prepared, TTE might have allocated the confirmed berth to some other person. And my wife was marked as travelled by TTE in his chart. The same chart would have submitted to railway authority. And hence I was not granted any refund.
Please let me know what can be done in this regards. Despite informing TTE about it, it is his duty to take this forward to railway authority. I have enclosed TTE's details to initiate any action against him.
