There is no additional foot over bridge at parel station in Central Railway mumbai, During peak hour there is so much rush that there are chances of a stampede waiting to happen. The railway has deployed RPF duing peak hours to manage the crowd, but it is not a permanent solution. They have started the work for additional bridge at karjat end, but the work has stopped half way. The other solution is to stop fast trains at Plat Form No. 3 & 4. Kindly investigate the above problem, & take necessary steps immediately.
Same is the case in central suburbs. Im staying in Ambarnath even here only one FOB is present and forcefully people have to cross the railway track risking there valuable life. Even here they had started work 2 year back, they brought all the materials and stopped the work in between(materails are still lying there) because i heard the funds are tranfered to some other area. Why is been done? Even here there is no fencing to restric the people to user FOB. Is tis the proper management of India Railway?
