Hi,
I travelled from Delhi to Jhansi on the 20th of Oct 2012 and while travelling I plugged in the Laptop Charger next to my Berth which was No19 in B1 coach, and within half an hour the charger stopped working and when I investigated, it came out that the charger had burnt internally due to very high voltage and faulty connection. It would now cost me Rs 7000/- approx to buy a new charger for it which I would like to be paid from the railways because it is their negligence and misconduct on it. Please help me to get the compensation from the Indian Railways.
