There are a lot of irregulrities at Phagwara Railway station. Railway's own employees are misusing the Railways property. In the present scenerio wherein Railways departments claims about its transperency and fair dealing, at the same time railways department shows lack of basic amenities for the public. The same can be checked at the personal residence of Mr. Bhushan Nandwani (Station Suprintendent Phagwara, Punjab). Railways quarter has been alloted to him but he has rented out the same and staying at some other residence. In addition, he is using various properties of Northern Railways at his personal residence.
