Dear Sir
On 06/03/2011 I bought a railway ticket from Badshahnagar reservation counter no. 645 @ 1130 hrs with PNR No.241-8206893 for 2 people in Train No. 15204.
In reservation slip the name, sex & age of the travelers were clearly mentioned.Due to the incompetency of the booking clerk the ticket issued contained 1 male & 1 female instead of 2 Males as mentioned in the reservation slip. The print on the ticket was also too light to be detected at that time.
After boarding the train when the TTE created a scene asking for Mrs. G S Sinha Age-64 yrs from his chart while the actual traveler was Mr.G S Sinha Age 64 yrs.Even after having a ticket the traveler was rendered travelling without ticket & was charged with Rs.870 over & above the initial ticket cost.
A complaint was made in Guard's complaint book(Page No. 2) for the same. The TDR Slip No. was R063852 as charged by the TTE.
I want some strict action to be taken against this very negligent behavior of the booking clerk because of which a senior citizen was put in such an embarrassing & humiliating situation where he had to pay twice for travelling once & also the refund of the double cost incurred due to the same.
Abhishk Sinha
