i have taken a new bsnl broadband connection on 24-04-2010
bearing my user id \"mohdwaheed12_scdrid\" and phone no is 04024477861
i have taken a plan of 625 (new plan) in that plan speed is 256 kbps
means i should get 50-60 kbps as downloading speed
but im getting 10-20 kbps downloading speed i have registered a complain on 26 or 27 april to bsnl broadband customer care but till now my issue has not been resolved on 1 st of april again i have made a call but they told technician will come on monday
they have given me complain no 11********8

I support this complaint.Same problem for me.BSNL has specified that it is 256kbps plan.But speed is just around 20-30kbps.I need proper answer for this?actually what is the moto of BSNL ?
yes i am also getting the same problem.it is worst plan almost no speed in it.
A 256 kbps plan means an approximate download speed of 32 kbps. It can go anywhere from 24 kbps to 40 kbps, and in exceptional cases, drop below 24 kbps.
