I am a normal passenger of Indian Railway, often travelling from Sealdah to Berhampore Court stations by Lalgola Fast Passenger train. On 18th March 2011 I was badly harassed by a group of daily passengers in the 3rd compartment of the up Lalgola Fast Passenger train which departed from sealdah. I was sitting on a sit , but suddenly one of those daily passengers came to me and made me stand up from my seat because according to them "that compartment was their" . i asked them where is it written? they told me that it need not be written but it is the rule. They even physically abused me on my protest against this wrong. I hope Indian Railway will take required measures as soon as possible against this incidents. And i am quite specific about the compartment number and that they do this things on daily basis and do harass other passengers to. Most of them travel upto Chakdah station. So, my suggestion would be to manage and keep armed guards on that compartment nd as well as on the whole train in deed at least upto Krishnanagar. I hope my complaint would make any change in this system or what can i say it..
