Sir, I would like to complement Southern Railways for their Service and i want all the employees to conferred with Bharat Ratna Award. Let me give a specific case where i experienced their Sincere Service. Today (26.02.13), i was travelling from Urapakkam to Chennai Beach. I boarded the 9.14 A.M - Semi Fast Service(T No.40526 S.F) to Chennai Beach Station. The train reached Urappakam Station at around 9.25 A.M. The semi fast train should ideally reach Chennai Beach Station @10.15 A.M. Usually it always runs late and daily it reaches 10 to 15 minutes late. But today (on 26.02.13), it was very different experience. The semi fast train was invariably halted at the intervening stations (i.e Kodambakkam, Nungambakkam, Chetpet etc), though Semi-fast trains which runs on the line meant for Express lines should not halt at these stations. So with all the halting in between and delay, the train finally reached Chennai Beach exactly at 11.05 A.M!!!! A delay of more than 50 Minutes!!! Even the local trains running on Suburban Line were quicker and more than 3 local trains crossed this particular S.F train to reach Chennai Beach early.
The Southern Railway is very much patient with its passengers and treats them a fair ride. I actually request the Southern Railways to run the service a bit longer than today and the Semi fast trains should cover this distance between Urappakkam & Chennai Beach by taking a minimum of 3 hours!!!! Hahahahah!!! In fact they even a Horse ride will be very quicker than the Semi-Fast Service!!!! So Guys out there in Southern Railway, i complement you for taking the passengers literally for a ride and teaching the passengers the virtue of Patience!!! Great Work Done by you Guys!!! So Keep It up!! You deserve Bharat Ratna for you Yeoman Service!!!
