I have been travelling on Pune-Lonavla section by local trains for the last 35 years.Although the volume of travelling passengers has increased several times,the number of local trains has not increased propotionately.As a result, the compartments have been overcrowded all the time.

Most of the time i have found a lot of people,including railway staff,travel in FIRST CLASS (with family) without authority or valid documents.I have never seen TTE in first class during evening hours in trains going from Pune to Lonavla i.e. trains leaving Pune at 18.10,19.05 and 20.00 hrs in particular.As a result,people with valid tickets and monthly passes have to travel standing whereas people without proper ticket travel comfortably.

It is my request to the concerned authorities to depute TTE in locals and carry out proper inspection(railway staff included) in 1st class. I am sure this will genedrate extra revenue for the railways also.
