Indian Railway has started providing seperate couch for the disabled one in most long distance trains from quiet sometime now and for which they should be appriciated.

However it lacks sensitivity as most stations do not announce or display position of this \"Disabled Couch\". With couch position not fixed & varying either ends of the train (engine or Guard), it is quiet a pain for the disable person to switch ends at the last moment of it\'s arrival.

Making it worst, many a time, station incharge himself is not aware of it\'s position havily depending on information passed from the previous station. Since most platforms have streched in length leaving FOB in the center, it is more important that positon of such couches shall be fixed, ideally in the center of the train.

More often this couch is not checked by the ticket checker allowing unauthorized to travel and found filthly.
