I enquired about the airtel data card from aritel datacard technical staff(********70) on 23rd june and they commited me the dedicated speed of around 100kbps to 256 kpbs for a monthly rental of Rs 999. I got my connection on 25th June, 2009 from Balaji Traders( TIN 0********27) vide receipt no. 121 for Rs 2700. My relationship number is 102-103459826.
When i used the datacard I was getting the speed of 5-10kbps continuosly. I called up airtel technical staff, they said as it is your initial days we cant register your complaint. They tried out many things to increase the speed but speed never increased above 15kbps. I had a word with many of the airtel support staff namely; Varsha Rani, Pankaj Sharma, Gulshan Rana, Dolly Bains, etc. They also gave me the number of Devika (********41), who belongs to their staff. But her number wasnt reachable.
I called up airtel customer care also to stop my billing as I wasnt receiving the commited speed on 1/7/2009 (refernce no. ********0). and again on 12/7/2009 (reference no. ********3). I never recevied any feedback from airtel instead I received a bill on 14/7/2009 for a sum of Rs 477.
Finally I contacted the apppelatte authority of airtel at ********65. I told everything to Poonam Bhanot and she replied that she would get back to me within 24 hours. But as usual I dint got any feedback.
I again called appellate authority on 17/7/2009, reference numbers are ********5 and ********0. I again had to tell them the whole story and now the appellate authority(Poonam Bhano) is saying \"this the maximum speed (10-15kbps) we provide and if you are not satisfied than you may discontinue with airtel and we havnt given you any information in writing, technical staff may have given the wrong information\". She also refused to replace the data card which the provided me for Rs 2700.
I have suffered a great loss both financially as well as mentally. Please help me what to do now. I am really very stressed out.
This is a clear case of fraud ( section 17 of Indian Contract Act, 1872)
as wrong information was passed on to me from Airtel Datacard Technical Assistance to decive me and I have suffered the loss.
