Indian Railways - I am digusted with Internet Booking

Dear Sir


We received the following email from you

it is not mentioning The Amount and is debited to which account.


We are unable to understand that though the amount is getting credit to yr account the tickets are not issued but the payment is refunded, why?


We are trying to book our return tickets from Abu Road to Bandra Terminus

from 7/12/09 from different bank account and credit cards of ours. All the time payment was received by the railways and was returned back, and the tickets were not booked.


Finally you advised us to use alternative method of booking the tickets, so we sent our person to the station, and now the ticket window says that the waiting list is over booked and they will not take any more application for that train.


Because of fault at your end we are unable to get the returned tickets while our going tickets are booked. You are requested to allot us the return tickets for 26th Jan 2009 and oblige.

Since all the above transactions where the payment were received by railways and was refunded back without booking tickets and without any mistake on our part we insists the tickets be provided to us. The reason of payment gateway is not acceptable to us as it is not our problem. The transaction can not go on failing for 3 days consecutively.


Other wise we will be forced to take legal action for rejections of our booking in spit of reeving payment and refunding back without booking, probably in the interest of Railway staff at the ticking counter.


I hope to receive yr early full explanatory response.
