Baja Allianz - Health Insurance Policy Cancellation without intimation

I had renewed above stated policy on 21/07/2008. Payment was made through Credit Card Payment. Premium amount Rs 10,733.00. I received confirmation receipt from BajajAllianz by e-mail. Receipt # 1001-00199925 dated 21/07/2008.

On 21/07/2009 I called up customer service for renewal of policy for 3rd time. I received reply that my policy was canceled. Means it was never renewed in year-2008.

My concern: I received payment receipt from Insurance company and subsequently also received policy documents and \'Health Card\' for each of the covered family members. How come it was not renewed or valid as per their record.

This is very serious since I was under false impression that me and my family have health cover for whole of last year. I do not have any formal communication or notification on when and why this policy was cancelled.

Presently, I am struggling with their customer service executives (Ravindra, Rekha, Swati, etc) to get a resolution.

My complain number registered with them is 35236234. Every time, they say some one will call me after 1 hour or within next 24 hours but that does not happen.

There is no reply or response from them.
