I got call from barclays credit card collection dept for settlement with Rs.700 charges in Aug-2009. Though I had paid all principal and interest charges I agreed for settlement as some late charges and other charges were shown in statement. Then I got call and representative told me to pay Rs.630 and raise a request with customer care to weave all late charges and other charges.I paid the money and raised request with customer care to weave off.They refused to do so and neither did settlement.I didn't use the card at all for any purchase and again raised a request to close my account.
Then after few months I again got call and collection dept told me to pay minimum rs 100 and raise settlement request. I raised request for settlement with their service center and it was again refused. I was again misguided.
Now after almost a year again I got call and representative asked for settlement for Rs.7000. This is unjustified as I was ready for it a year ago for much less amount. The bank people are troubling me with their phone calls at odd hours and use abusive language. This is affecting my health.
