Barclays Bank - Barclay Bank’s Barclaycard department has been harassing me for a very long time

Barclay Bank’s Barclaycard department has been harassing me for a very long time now. They issued me a credit card which I did not get at all, but they started sending me credit card statements, which read a huge outstanding payment.

I brought it to heir notice that I have not yet got the said card (433********31452) and there is some mistake, fraud or misuse of the card, to this I got a reply on 31st May 2008 (Ref : SK300508/33) from one Mr. Nigel Dias, he wrote that they have forwarded the information to their fraud control unit for investigation and that it would take 30 to 45 days to resolve the fraudulent and they would get back to me post resolution of the same. But I have not heard from them or him till date, and I still get outstanding bill statements, to add to the entire mental trauma they have even started making threatening calls and even sending people to my place for recovering the amount.

I have also made a police complain against these people at Pant Nagar Police station on 19.09.08 ( No. 1608) as I have been getting threatening calls and recovery people come to my place at odd hours and disturb us for a payment which I am not responsible for, but still I am getting threatening calls.

I have time and again requested them to stop sending people to my place as it hinders my social standing and respect in society. I have even started getting bad health due to the stress caused by the threatening calls and unwanted people at my door. Any further health hazard to me or my family members should be blamed on Barclay Bank and its staff along with their agents.

I want Barclay Bank to send me a letter saying I am not liable to pay any amount to them what so ever and assure me that I will not get any more threatening calls from their recovery agents.

I support this complaint. Barclays recovery agents make calls at odd hours and use abusive language.
