I would like to report that I got a call from the Customer Care Center yesterday. I was informed that since I have returned back from India this has now become an international issue and therefore will be guided by WTO (World Trade Organization) rules.
I was also requested by the officer that without my SBI password they will not be able to process it. I gave him the password in good faith. I have also furnished him with my BRAC credit card number and also sent him the photographs of both my SBI travel card and BRAC credit card both front and back of both the cards.
I have not heard from him since.
That alleged officer also requested for my web pin for my SBI travel card. Later I was advised by the local SBI branch not to provide him with the information.
