Naaptol - FRAUD BY NAAPTOL (ORDER NUMBER 3674505) & HARASSMENT

Dear Sir

I had ordered one HTC EVO 4G handset (ORDER NUMBER 3674505) after inquiring from your customer care and properly informing that I want to use this set over TATA CDMA network. I was told that the set will work with any CDMA operator. But to my utter shock and surprise when I tried to use the handset over TATA network I was informed that the set will not work at all. I made a complaint to NAAPTOL customer care, after which I was asked to return the handset to M/s Alpha Radios at New Delhi and some numbers of M/s Alpha Radios were given in the e-mail asking me to contact them. I returned the handset via DTDC courier (CN No. Z********) The same was received at M/s Alpha Radios on 4th April, 2012. Since that day, I am being harassed again and again as I am running pillar to post sometimes calling naaptol and other times calling alpha radios to know the status of my order. But each party is just making fool giving false assurances that my product has been dispatched. They keep on saying that they will dispatch new handset as the previous one had some fault but in real nothing is being done.

The limits were crossed today when I asked for the docket number of the courier through which it has been dispatched. Docket number was given as V08571825 of DTDC courier. When I tried to track this courier over the courier website, it was showing the delivery at Dehradun. That means I was again being made fool by giving docket number of some other product at some other location.

I am making calls again and again to M/s Alpha Radios as well as at NAAPTOL but every time some false assurance is being given. The persons with whom I have interacted are as under:

At M/s Alpha Radios: (Called at least 50 times over the STD and wasted thousands of rupees)

1. Mr Pankaj,
2. Mr Sonu Tiwari,
3. Mr Sachin and
4. Mr Anupam (who told himself as Senior executive)

At Naaptol: (at least 50 times over the STD and again wasted thousands of rupees)

1. The customer care at ********48
2. Mr Pramod Kumar, Senior Escalation Executive (talked to him atleast 10 times) but he could provide anything substantial

I have written 10’s of emails, (I am having copy of each) to different email id’s including ankit.insha@gmail.com, replyfromnaaptol@naaptol.com, support@naaptol.com, divya.susai@naaptol.com, Jignesh.gangapuram@naaptol.com, alpharadios.delhi@gmail.com, ritesh.mehta@alpharadios.com, saurabh.garg@alpharadios.com, care1@voxmobiles.com, care2@voxmobiles.com,
sunit@voxmobiles.com


Every time I called I was promised they will call back but reply never came. Every time my call runs for atleast 30-40 minutes and I have wasted lot of money over the calls.

IT IS REQUESTED THAT KINDLY RESOLUTION BE PROVIDED AT THE EARLIEST AND COMPENSATION BE MADE FOR THE STD CALLS I HAVE MADE.

I am not surprised by the attitude of NAAPTOL since they are intrested in selling things and give no gurantee of quality and service post sale. I have experienced the same treatment from them after buying BLACKBERRY mobile. I would like to file a case against them in CONSUMER COURT
