I did the installation and de-installation on July 25th through DishTVby paying 350+ taxes amount. Till now I have faced two problems
regarding set top boxes. Which dish tv is saying out of warranty now. During last complaint they told me that set top box would be replace due to some problem. It was paid visit by dish tv. Actual fault was software upgrade through dishtv. I am facing the same problem and same story by dishtv customer care.
As per my understanding this is fraud to consumer. Why customer should pay for hardware problem due to software upgrade. I did not give any consent to upgrade any software on my set top box ( It is my property).I am facing the same problem and being forced for paid visit and to pay for hardware problem, which I believe is not.
This is cheating and fraud to customer.
