I tried to submit the FEE for SBI PO at SSI Branch Mohali and stood in the Que to single window. However, even after half an hour, only one person from que had been attended, while 7-8 persons had been attended, who came without QUE.
This was quite surprising and everybody in the Que was compalining about this unfair practice. When the issue was raised to a senior staff and then even to the Branch manager, the first question i was asked was if I had account with that branch. As I don't hold accound with that Branch, so I was told that as per Bank policy,Customers with account in the branch shall be attended first(so, there was no need for them to follow the rules of coming in Que), and all other shall be dealt as per the availability of time.

It is good bussiness policy to take care of exisiting customers but certainly should not be done at the cost of perspective customers.Branch can have a dedicated counter for preferred customers, but treating non-account holders in such a ridiculous way is certainly not how the biggest public sector bank of india is supposed to run its operations.

Thanks
