Dear Sir,

Please allow me to bring to your kind attention, use of cars delivered to HONDA for service for personal purposes and careless handling of cars by untrained personnel there by causing damage to cars; deficiency in services; and careless & callous attitude of HONDA officials to resolve the concerns of customers .

I had purchased HONDA City I-V TEC (Reg. No. DL 4C AH 9144) from Ring Road Honda, Delhi on 1-05-2009.

I sent my car for 1st service on 11-06-2009 to Ring Road Honda, Peera Garhi, Delhi. They had not attended to service rather they had misused my car for personal purposes, hit and damaged car. Front grill, rear Bumper and left quarter panel were severely damaged and with that impact clippings of Bumper and left quarter panel & left tail light were broken. The same was brought to notice of HONDA immediately.

After protracted follow up, HONDA officials had offered to repair and repaint damaged Front grill, Bumper and left quarter panel, and fix the damaged left tail light. They had detailed that for the purpose of repair and repaint; damaged portion will be cut, repaired, re-welded and repainted.

Since this car is only one month old and damages have been caused by HONDA during first service itself, it is obligatory on your part that left tail light, Front grill, Bumper and left quarter panel are replaced instead of repair and Paint job and also clippings to be fitted properly ensuring entire work is complete in all respect.

Causing damage to the car due to carelessness/ mishandling by HONDA during first service itself, has not only resulted in loss in value of car, it has also hurt my sentiments and caused mentally agony to me and my family.

Since I am not satisfied with services of Ring Road Honda, I solicits your kind intervention in the matter and request that the job of replacement of damaged parts in entirety including service of the car may be got done from other service centre near to my home, preferably Prime Honda, Vaishali.

Dear Sirs,

Please refer to my letter dated 3.07.2009 bringing to your kind attention, misuse of car (DL 4C AH 9144) delivered to HONDA for service for personal purposes; careless handling of car by untrained personnel; causing damage to car resulting in loss in value of car, hurt to sentiments and physical & mentally agony to me and my family; deficiency in services; and careless & callous attitude of HONDA officials to resolve the concerns of customers.

This is to further inform you that the matter was discussed with HONDA Executive ( Mr. Jaspreet Singh) on 16.07.2009. The alternative of replacement of car damaged by HONDA also came for discussion.

In view of my previous communications, HONDA may

Either
consider compensating me for the following charges:-

1. Cost of replacement of damaged parts at cost, risk and
responsibility of HONDA on actual basis.
2. Compensation towards loss in value of new car Rs. 2,00,000/-
3. Token compensation towards mental agony and harassment
to the undersigned and his family members. Rs. 1,00,000/-
Or
Replace the car itself.

An early decision in the matter is solicited.
