I planned my Family Trip with COX & KINGS because of the brand name it has developed over the years , but I think the brand value is getting diluted in some sense in the franchisee model that the corporate is following to expand the chain.
1st GOOF UP
I started the planning with C&K to travel to Swiss on 18th June’11 when I approached I had all the documents for 7 Adults & 1 Infant Ready (including the Visa Form). I handed over all the required documents to Dipul on 2nd June’11 and we were told that It wil be done & we will FLY on 18th June for sure (confirmed by Priya) (DISPLAYS “FAILS IN CUSTOMER COMMITMENTâ€).On 7th June we are updated that as a sudden change now Swiss VFS is taking documents on Prior Appointment (which the earliest date that we are getting is of 21st June) which is as per Mr. Dipul a new process stared 2 days back whereas on the contrary on VFS website there is a clear notification of 11th May (notification attached “Swiss VFSâ€) that prior appointment is required (DISPLAYS NO EXPERTISE IN SWISS TRAVEL)
2nd GOOFUP
Now I was given a option on 7th june to travel to South Africa for which VISA comes in 7 working days so - I was asked to change my travel plan to 24th June’11 on a safer side so that everything gets closed. So here starts another journey .. I asked Dipul/Priya to provide me the land & flight cost . I was commited land cost as $1423 (4* Property) and was told that they have told their flight department to find the best & cheapest fare & will update me shortly …I kept following for the flight cost till 12th june & was told that the best cost per person coming is 84000/- where as I searched on net on Emirates website and go the fare for the same flights as 56000/- (MAJOR BLUNDER “WHATEVER IS THE INTENTIONâ€) I sent the screenshots for the same to Priya & Dipul then next day I was told on 13th June that travel cost is 57400/- what a sudden change in fair. I gave all the required documents & cash & cheque as required on 14th June , after that both Dipul & Priya stopped picking my phone , if I used to call from some other no my call was answered (GREAT CUSTOMER CARE ïŒ) . Now when everything go finalized I was supposed to fly on 23rd aug I am told on 20th aug after my repeated calling that we are applying VISA today on 20th JUNE (God Knows Why ??) so u cannot fly on 23rd June (BUNDERRRR!!!) Then I was given a new date that we will take of the cost but please agree on the new departure date … (Again Misguided the customer) as according to new schedule there was some hotel cost change which WAS CHARGED TO ME saying that they commited that any travel fare change will be born by the so called franchisee (saket : Dipul/Priya) (SO I AGAIN GOT CHEATED) . Now for my travel I was commited all 4* properties where as I have taken the Hotel In johannesberg where at the reception itself its marked as a 3 * Property. (SO was cheated again)
No after my coming back I am asking for the Bills from 25 Days daily calling /droping mail nobody bothers to attend the call , whereas the calls are disconnected ….
