Indian Railways - Booking clerks should know what/how to read the details

I had to book a ticket in 3 AC from Jaipur to pune from Durgapura,Jaipur railway station . In reservation form under class i wrote 3T/3A as per my best knowledge, it should be.Booking clerk booked my ticket in sleeper. Because of this i had to cancel the ticket and pay cancellation charges and book another ticket in 3 AC.One thing i have not understand is what made booking clerk to read 3A as sleeper and when i asked to clerk , the reply was "i have booked the ticket as mentioned in form". Which was actually mentioned as 3A.When i walked up to station master, his reply was it was my mistake as did not mentioned the correct class as "AC". One thing i want to know from Indian Railway is if i did not write the class as it should be why booking clerk booked my ticket in sleeper. A normal person will understand by looking at the form if class written as "3A" as 3 AC not sleeper.
This is absolute non sense by Staff at Durgapura railway station.This incident has made by day worst. I am sure no action will be taken as Indian Railway has other important work to do. but hope this time if appropriate action will be taken.
