Hi,
First of all I hope this mail reaches the correct email-inbox where one can seek escalation of the long pending & never ending issues related to transactions with BAG IT TODAY, yet another misnomer from the ITBC group!! Frustrated with all the telephonic followups with the so-called customer support line, I'm left presently with the only hope of seeking a resolution from this channel, failing which I have to explore other legal options.

The Problems:

* On 13th Feb-2011, I placed an order for a pair of Spalding Shoes with a free gift of Nuemro Uno Sun Glasses via your web-portal for an amount of INR 1798. The order ID provided to me was 1002494292 & was mentioned to allow 2-3 weeks for processing the order. As luck would have it in dealing with you guys, it never came. Subsequent phone calls resulted in all false assurances one after the other until I decided to cancel the order a week ago. In my call to your support line, on March 28, 2011, I was given the Case Ticket Id # - 84462 & Complaint Id - 102547. Till date, I haven't received my refund.

* On 2nd Mar-2011, I was tricked (this time via a phone call, on the pretext of solving my earlier complaint) to place yet another order(OrderId# - 110105572) for an amount of Rs.23,999. This time it was for - (i) Cash Prize of Rs.1,10,000, (ii) Blackberry Phone*1, (iii) Diamonds*5 of 10carats & (iv) Worldcup Tickets *2. As worse as it can be imagined, a completely fabricated story of offers, without the ability to process a single one! In your phone call the same day from the verification department, I was told only of the Blackberry Phone & the Diamonds. It was apparent that the salesman did an excellent job in providing false information just to push products. I was approached by the sales line with the exclamation statement that I had won a cash prize of INR 1,10,000. Well, at least, thanks to the guy at the verification department who was very clear about the order. Apparently I chose to cancel the order, the refund for which has not come as yet.


Both the orders were placed by Credit Cards by me & the statements for the same are also long out. Actually, by now the pay by date is also over. So here I am: placed an order, never received the product nor my money back & am being subjected to constant tension. So much for just chosing to buy from your organisation! What a pity & shame!
If the number of escalations in public web-forums are anything to go by, then it clearly indicates the level of ethics & degree of un-professional work culture in place in your organization. I still remember having equally tough time in dealing with your parent group ITBC last year regarding such purchases.(I have all mail communications safe!). Looks like it's just the old wine in a new bottle - ITBC just changes it's commodity trading portal name to Bag It Today - but the essence still stinks!! A cheater organization by all means!!
Please Note: Your failure to deal in a timely manner with my transactions above, has given me sufficient mental tension, apart from the huge outstanding Credit Card dues. Nevertheless, this is my last intimation to you guys towards an amicable settlement, failing which, I'm sure of my next step.
I await your response within the next 24 hrs of sending this mail, failing which, we have to meet each other in the apt court of consumer law!
