A train passenger met with an accident while boarding in the train No, 366 Thiruvananthapuram Passenger on 13.06.2010 . this passenger has lost both legs. the accident was happened due to the negligence from the part of indian railways. The platform in this station is very low.Women and aged passengers cant enter the train without the help of co passengers. Several complaints were lodged to the railway authorities including the Hon. Railway Minister. several accidents were occurred in the railway station due to lesser height and lesser length of the platforms.There is only one booking clerk in this station. The railways has not provided SIGNAL LIGHTS and WALKIE TALKEY. The railway authorities should look into the matter and take immediate steps for increasing height and length of the platforms and provided signal lights and walkie talkie to the booking clerk. A potter may also be posted in this stion for clearing the train.
