ABN AMRO Bank - ABN Amro Bank speaks high and delivers low (ID # 1906)

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am holder of ABN Amro credit card. The rep. from ABN Amro bank has called and explained that the bank is giving free chip card and has sent card bearing card no. 5415382405083429 stating that no charges will be levied as you have been selected for this service. When called call centre to activate the said card they said you need pay to pay Rs. 3000 to activate the card. I explained but they declined to even hear. I am having card for almost 4 years and I feel that the bank has lost face value becoz of the misconduct.

Request the bank to resolve the long pending issue.
