APPLE INDIA - Worst Service and customer cheating by Imagine store

On Saturday (11th November 2017) i visited Iphone Service centre (Imagine store) due to an issue with my Iphone 6 - 16gb that it was not switching on. When i gave the phone for diagnosis, they charged me INR 1180 as fees for diagnosis itself.

Later the next day, i received email from the Apple care that the phone is irrepairable and the entire handset needs to be replaced and for which I am asked to pay 27,000. Below is the comment i received -

"Checked and found iPhone not powering on. Reseat the battery connector no go, Try to Restore the iPhone to Latest IOS no go, iPhone not Detecting in iTunes. device is out off warranty. Hence iPhone need to replace under paid service to address the issue. customer denied for service"

Then, i was not ready to pay it and i went and collected back the phone on 14th November 2017 and took it to a different repair centre specialized only for Apple products repair. There, they just changed the battery and the phone is now fully working.

But the Apple care mentioned, the phone cannot be repaired and that i need to pay 27k extra to get it replaced.

This is how the Apple service centre (Imagine store) are cheating its customers in the name of service. I need this issue to be taken to the higher levels and necessary action be taken. I would hereafter prefer all of my friends never to go to Imagine store for any service. I am also planning to file a complaint for cheating the customers with such wrong and false service.
