customer is nothing for them.....

I am using a car helpline membership from RACE from last 3 years. i had a santro (DL3CAB 2627) registered with them. My membership expires on 30 April 2011, but not to be in trouble i renewed my membership in the month of January 2011, which will be applicable after 30 April, 2011. On 13 April, 2011 while on the way to my home after picking my son from school, my car broke down. i called RACE, they said they will send the mechanic. After half an hour the mechanic did not come. i called them again. They said your registration has expired so they can not send any mechanic. I was surprised. I told them that i already renewed my membership in the month of January. But they refused to accept it as it was not updated in their system. I said in some loud voice then they got ready to send some mechanic on payment which was refundable. i gave Rs 300 to the mechanic and returned home 2 hours later with their receipt of refundable amount.

But now they are not refunding my amount. Inspite of logging so many complaints at their office they are not refunding my amount. I've spend more than 300 Rs. on phones but in no use. They are giving mental harassment to their consumer. The thing is not that its just Rs 300. the thing is wrong is wrong and the guilty should be punished/penalized.

i was a regular user of race from last few years....earlier i had my all 3 cars membership from them but due to the way of their service and method of behaving with customers i had only one car membership with them.which i am sure i will not continue in future. A WORST EXPERIENCE...
