My name is Praveen, am writing this letter/complaint on behalf of my granny(D.Vijayamma) who is a faithful customer of Vijaya bank for more than 40 years. Her account nos. are: 1) 301********0002 AVADI,CHENNAI 600054 (PENSION ACCOUNT) 2) 204101010007676 MAIN BRANCH,TRIVANDRUM 695001 SHE IS BED RIDDEN FOR 6-8MONTHS AND IS AT PRESENT AT TRIVANDRUM. APPROACHED MAIN BRANCH,TRIVANDRUM 695001 BUT THEY ARE STILL WORKING ON EXCUSES/HOW TO GIVE HER THE PENSION AMOUNT WHICH IS DUE FROM 6-8MONTHS NOW. THE BANK FULLY THUS LIMITING THE HELP TO A SENIOR CITIZEN(80yrs), A WIDOW, AN ARMY PENSION HOLDER & AN OLD/SICK/INCAPACITATED VIJAYA BANK CUSTOMER. REPEATED APPROACHES TO THE BANK HAS NOT GIVEN ANY RESULTS SO FAR INSTEAD CONTINUING TO PLAY CAT-MOUSE AT WHICH THEY ARE AN EXPERT!!!

Dear Sir/Madam,

We have received a complaint from Dr. I.C Praveen, who is a grand son of our customer Mrs Vijayamma D. and maintaining the Account number 2014101010007676 with Trivendrum Branch, Kerela.
Please note that she is also a senior citizen and a pensioner and maintaining the pension account number 301********0002 in our Avadi Chennai Branch
According to his grand son the pensioner is a widow and bed ridden from past 2-3 months and unable to withdraw the pension from the account and also the branch manager of trivendrum branch has visited the pensioner in the hospital and verified the situation.
According to her grand son, Dr I C Praveen, he has tried every possible way to reach to the concerned authorities to provide the alternate solution to withdraw the pension from the account, for that he has communicated to the grievance cell , including the branch people and the Head office to get the proper communication and the guidance but of no avail.
Today he has lodged the complaint regarding the same with us ( the Ref no at Call Centre is CC/Feb/26/2013) and has asked for the proper guidance once again and has informed that if no action is taken against this complaint then he would be forced to take some alternate option that is legal.
Therefore we request to kindly lodge a complaint under the grievance department and please provide the reference number along with the proper communication to Dr I C Praveen.
Also we request the pension department to look into the matter please try to solve the issue at the earliest.
