Hi,

I got my first Pureit Battery changed on 3rd May, 2011 through calling ********00 but to my sheer surprise my purifier again showed batter change sign on 5th July and there was some leakage also where battery is installed.

I contacted Pureit Helpline on 6th July, 2011 to check my purifier (for leakage and battery replacement). The executive who noticed my complaint (********00) assured me that by 7th July my complaint will be addressed. But no one turned up on 7th July inspite of my several call reminders on the helpline number. Everytime they gave me assurance that today ie 7th July someone will visit my place, even one of the executive provided timeline also (berfore 8 pm). I again called up at 9:30 pm to check the status of my complaint and same reply came from their side that next day someone will visit my place. I asked executive to escalate my call to any senior over there and he (senior csa) also confirmed that on 8th July my complaint will be entertained. To my suprise when nobody contacted me on 8th also, I called up again at the helpline to know the status of my complaint and directly asked for any senior to talk to but these executives have been given so much powers that she put me on hold for atleast 10 minutes and then said "Our senior is saying aaj ho jayega". When I insisted that I want to talk to any manager over there then a sr. csa escalated the call.

I have contacted many helpline numbers but the kind of approach "PUREIT HELPLINE" is carrying is shocking. If this is an outsourced vendor and I should say Hindustan Unilever is just tarnishing its image through this helpline number else if they have their own inhouse setup then they should take customer complaints seriously before publishing such expensive advertisements on media.

I am purchasing approximately Rs. 80 mineral water daily from market just because these so called helpline number executives are least bothered about customer complaints.

I will appreciate if proper action is taken on time and other people who are using PUREIT of Hindustan Unilever are no harrased through calling helpline number.
