I placed an order on snapdeal.com ORDER ID 1********2 for the combo item Laptop Bag Combo with Mouse, headset, & keyboard guard on 17/03/14. Estimated dispatch date was shown as 18/03/14. Initially my address was shown wrong. Then actual dispatch got delayed to 22/03/14 and delivery was made at last on 26/03/14. When I opened the packet, I found that the headphone was damaged and immediately I made a complaint which was given Ticket no. 5686799.
Now the drama began. Instead of changing only the damaged item, I was asked to return all the items of the order thus keeping myself in the hook with my money blocked. I again requested snapdeal to change only the broken item (headset). This was registered as Ticket no.5865962 on 6th April,2014 with assurance of a reply within 48 hours. But they are just keeping mum after saddling me with a broken item.
What kind of customer service does snapdeal provide? Wrong address is recorded first. Then there is delay in shipment. One broken item is sent. And the last straw is that they are not taking any action for its replacement. It is highly unethical to keep quiet even after knowing that an item supplied by them was damaged. After all I have paid for it though the amount may not be much.
I need your help so that the professional incompetence and dishonesty of snapdeal is highlighted.
