I have LG LED TV model 32LE5500. It was bought it on 23-Aug-2011, so it is arounf 4 yr 1 month old.
On 28-Sep-14 it had a problem that there was no display and I contacted LG service centre. LG service engineer visited at home and informed me that main mother board is not working and no parts is available for this model. The only option I was given is that, I will be given 15% of the original price of the TV (which would be around 4500) if I exchange it with a new one.
I'm surprised and shocked that within 4 years no parts are available for a popular model and Rs 33,000/- I paid for this has gone ashtray. I'm not sure what to do with my TV as I have to invest the same or more amount for TV again.
I am shocked at this response from a reputed company that within 4 yrs the parts are not available. I saw similar complaint from other customers and I wonder what is LG's response to them.
