Netambit sales persons sold new policy by fraud and false promises of transfering into existing policy:

I am existing ICICI Pru Customer. Here is my detail:

By Jan-2010 I have happily invested in 2 of the ICICI Pru policies as given below:
1. LIfe Time Gold:
a. Policy Number: 07419164
b. Premium Amount: 20000
c. Issue date: 18/01/2008
d. Frequency of payment: Yearly

2. Life Stage Assure:
a. Policy Number: 12311944
b. Premium Amount: 15000
c. Issue date: 01/08/2009
d. Frequency of payment: half-yearly

One can see by the history of these poilices that I have been paying my premium always on time. Besides that me and my family always connected with ICICI through saving, current bank accounts or through home loan.
I refered these investments and other association with the ICICI bank to show my belief in the bank reputation.

Now in Feb-2010 I start receiving call from ICICI Pru Mumbai office. The lady referred herself as Branch Manager of Mumbai Main Branch (ICICI Pru). She told that I have got some Rs. 54k Bonus on the existing Life Stage Assure Policy. To get that bonus I just need to pay my next premium now (which is due in Aug-2010).

She start forcing me that by only paying my next premium early I can easily avail my bonus, otherwise this bonus will go to the Agent who filed my policy.

Once I asked the procedure, she said she will send some person to collect the document. I have to pay my next premium by cheque (Rs 15k). She also said I need to sign on some documents.

When I asked what are these documents she said this will be some dummy policy, but I need not to worry as in july I will be receiving a transfer letter which I need to fill and submit in any ICICI Pru office and this policy will converted into my existing policy and the money which I am paying will get transferred to my preimium.

I start doubting as taking new policy is not in my capacity that time but she forced me little to much assure me that she is doing it for many of her customers. She also gave her personal number for assurance. Also she said that this is very simple procedure for bonus to ICICI pru customers and feb end is the last date for it.

She sent the person to my residence, which bring the documents for below policy:

b. Premium Amount: 15000
c. Issue date: 28/02/2010
d. Frequency of payment: half-yearly


After that every week or so I start getting tons of similar calls from different persons. Couple of time same lady called me again and told I can avail one more extra bonus if I pay Jan-2011 premium as well. That time I suspect of this fraud. I did not intertain her call but she keep calling and forcing to take bonus by the same procedure. But I simply refused.

It seems to me a case of group of ICICI employees/agents selling ICICI policies by making the customers fool.

I have no other way but to wait till July. As suspected I didn’t get any communication which she explained. I only received new policy documents. I am simply made a fool who got an unplanned and unwanted policy for 7 year lock period.

I tried calling her number but no one is picking it. These guys sold me the above policy by fraud.

In Aug I again get the call from same lady, this time she told I am lacking Rs. 15k investment that is why I am not getting the bonus and start forcing me to take a one more new policy, which I simply refused.

She said she lost her mobile that is why she is not reachable. She even given her boss number (Mr Singhania) who spoke to me and start forcing me to take new policy and get the bonus.
To make me believe him he given his employee id as well.

But after fooled once I do not want to do one more time, so I simply refused to do so.

Now the problem is due to this fraud I have simly lose Rs 15k invested in a policy (13508685) which I never wanted. My existing policy (12311944) has crossed its due limit (revived) but I did not payed it as I tolttaly lost my confidence from ICICI Prudential.

For me I just wanted to close my fraud policy and then only transfer my premium to existing once. Otherwise I do not want to do any business with ICICI. And I will start doing the legal cases against the bank.

I still want to launch complain first so I am writing this detail. Hope some serious action will be taken and these persons who are making fools to the customer will taught a lesson.

Please do close the fraud policy and transfer the sum to existing one.

I support this complaint as i have been also frauded by icici peoples by giving a new policy which was send to my old house address, against asking me to pay the premium in advance of my existing policy no. 1442596 by fooling me of giving bonus.Recently i visited to icici pru office in order to close all my policies after getting frustrated but the person over their told me that he couldn't do anything in that case and told me to i have to continue paying the premiums till the policy time.

Now why should i pay my premiums to these fraud people? why should i continue.

moreover the person concerned with this matter who has given me both the policies is ABHISHEK IN NOIDA ICICI PRU OFFICE; (M) ********58 (O) 0120-4693750 whom i have contacted several times but i just got fraud promises again and again.

I requested to concerned higher authorities to take strict actions against these fraudies before we file legal complaints against company and against them.

since my parents also have other policies and loans with icici and are doing very good,i don't want to spoil their relationship with you.

Thus i request to higher concerned persons to solve this matter and to close my fraud policy with refund of money or transfer it to my existing policy 1442596.
