I would like to bring to your notice about rampant water wastage by my neighbors. They leave their motor running for more that 1 hour, whereas, it hardly takes 30 minutes for the water tank on their terrace to fill up. For about 30 minutes, they leave water pump running and waste appox 50 liters water. This happens in the morning between 7-8 AM and then again in the evening between 5-7 pm. This means they waste about 100 liters of precious water on the daily basis. All this water is going in drains which could have been used by someone else

We have tried to convey this message to them to stop water wastage. However, their response was "So what if its going in drains, it's only water". Wastage of 3000 liters of drinkable water every month is not acceptable to me. They don't want to listen to us and continuing their wastage.

i am not complaining about them because i have any personal issues with them. But since, half of Delhi is facing acute water shortage in this summer, i don't think anyone has the right to waste it and that too about 100 liters in a day.

You are requested to take up this matter urgently and take action against such wastage
